Born in India, raised in Africa, she creates bold and colourful print designs and paintings with the intention of spreading joy. Her works are inspired by culture, heritage, living in vastly different countries, emotions and travel.

Kaushikas’ works focus on concepts of the Bindi* and the importance of  re-learning your ethnicity and experiences growing up.

*Bindi is a red dot worn between Indian women’s eyebrows.
